- The festival is open to entries from all filmmakers and genres, regardless of experience.
- Feature length films with a running time of at least 70 minutes and short films of less than 69 minutes will be judged.
- The cost is $200.00 per feature and $125.00 per short film submission. Payments are to be in US dollars only by check or money order and made payable to “RED CARPET INDIE FILM FESTIVAL” and mailed to RED CARPET INDIE FILM FESTIVAL, c/o AUD/MAX, PO Box 1970, Trenton, NJ 08607. Please write title of your film on check or money order. Do not send cash.
- You may submit multiple films, but each one must be labeled and have its own submission form and entry fee.
- All preview copies must be submitted on DVD or ˝ inch VHS video cassette for initial viewing.
- All submitted materials become the property of RCIFF. The materials will not be returned unless accompanied by a self-addressed mailing package and postage.
- Films will not be shown if they are considered to be pornographic, racist, anti-American or hold a particular religion up to ridicule. The RCIFF reserves the right to determine eligibility of any project submitted.
- If you have any questions regarding submissions, rules and regulations, please contact AUD/MAX at (609) 240-3653. Do not call the theatre regarding submissions, rules or regulations.
- There are no refunds or exchanges and all entries are final.
- Deadline for entries is May 30, 2009. This is the date that the films are to be received by the RCIFF, and will only accept one version of your film. Please do not send any additional versions of your film as they will be returned to you.
- The final program determinations will be made by July 15, 2009. You will be notified on or before this date, in writing, and it will also be posted on the web-site as to whether your film is to be screened or not.
- The final films must be in 35 millimeter and suitable for viewing as to content, cinematography and sound.
- The films will be voted on and selected from all the entries and shown to a studio audience in a Destina theatre multiplex.
- The finalists will be interviewed by a host and audience reaction to their film will be shown.
- A studio representative will also review the films.
- The winner will have a showing
at the Destinta Theatres located at 2465 South Broad Street,
Hamilton, NJ.
