“RED CARPET TREATMENT” ©
This program consists of a half-hour long weekly reality series which focuses on a monthly independent film festival (Red Carpet Indie Film Festival) produced and distributed through AUD/MAX and Destinta Theatres.
A Destinta Multiplex theater will host the indie festival. There is an entry fee for submittals.
The program benefits the industry and the film patron. The distribution experience is shared from the studio executives to the ticket buyer. Everyone has a part in the process. It changes the game as there is no dice rolling on distributing a film project when the distributors can see it firsthand on “Red Carpet Treatment”. IT’S FILMMAKING IN REVERSE!
The festival will be open to the public as well as industry executives. The audience is given cards to vote for the film that they like the most, thus giving them a chance to participate in possibly getting a movie a distribution deal and emit a red carpet atmosphere. The festival attendees get to see recent films rather than waiting a year for them to be released.
This process alleviates the filmmaker from promo, marketing and travelling.
This program will also give the majors an accurate gauge of a test market for potential box office distribution.
The television audience does not have to travel to the festivals as we will bring it directly into their homes.
The breakdown of the program will be:
Week Week 3: Festival reaction from audience and studio executives by a VJ outside of the theater. Week 4: The winner is announced. The winner will have their film shown on a Destinta Theatre screen.
